Greetings from the artist

Ms. Eloxochitl is a queer, Mexican-Indigenous artist from Los Angeles, California. She works in oil, painting in an Impressionist style inspired by the bold, vibrant colors of Mexican art. A solitary pagan, she approaches creation as both gratitude and divination, weaving magic, emotion, and ancestral memory into every brushstroke.

My Story

This little website is a dream made real—a space where my art flows as an extension of my soul, a way to hold the intensity of human emotion in forms that can be seen, felt, and remembered again. Ancestry and memory seep through every brushstroke, allowing history to linger, to endure, and to become immortal.

Painting is my doorway to freedom, my instrument of visibility, and my chosen tool of rebellion. Each stroke is a ringing spell, a channel through which I speak my truest self—a lyre strummed with the strings of my heart, a spell cast into the world with intention and devotion.

I am guided by the power of ancestral veneration, the call of human rights, and the preservation of historical memory. In my solitary moments, I write, dance, and wander with my dog, gathering inspiration from the ordinary and the whimsical alike.
